Easy dessert

Want an easy dessert that looks nice?
Brownies
Cool Whip, straight outta the tub. It would be so much better home made, but this works too.

Chocolate pudding, then repeat. Brownies, Cool Whip, Pudding x2 top with cool whip and Toffee bits (near the chocolate chips). Voila, simple, easy, looks pretty, tastes great, what more could you want!

Something that we have done through the years that has really worked well for us, and will serve our children well as they grow up, live, work and lead in the world is this.

Great KSL Find!

Last Fall I picked up this sweet little table and chairs for $35 on KSL. It was just what I wanted to give Saylor for Christmas. Jim picked it up in Salt lake on his way home one night. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is. The colors weren't bad, but I didn't love them. I decided it'd be fun to refinish it before I tackle my Kitchen table & chairs that are waiting out in the garage for me.

I made sure I finished it for her for Christmas. She loves the little set!

Ties, Ties & More Ties

Did you know that you can order 95 ties on eBay for $40? What they are not is new fancy dancy designer ties, but what they are is: paisleys, solids, florals, stripes, geo designs and picture ties from the past 3 decades!! Now let's see... who would think this is a fantastic deal??

First Time ~Sledding

Jim and I have lived in Utah for 16 (me) and 19 (Jim) years. In our entire 14 years of being married we've never been sledding. Apparently we don't get out much!! Our poor kids!! For Christmas this year some of our biggest gifts were sleds!! Four sleds and one snowboard (Like a sledding snowboard, not a real snowboard with bindings, that you use when you go skiing, like a sledding snowboard... that you use when you go sledding does that make any sense at all?)

Oh my cuteness!! Why did we wait so long?!

I wonder if we'll get enough snow to go again?
